2017 Highlights

After its 2nd success, Singapore Fashion Runway is back again in 2017! This season, the sky is the limit as we strut our way across the unlikely catwalks of Singapore, uncovering our city’s unique fashion heartbeat through the vibrant and colourful expression of our people through Fashion for a Social Cause journey.

In 2015, we celebrated Singapore’s 50th birthday with 30,000 visitors to our inaugural SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway shows throughout the year.

In 2016, we partnered with Club Rainbow, turning the chronically-ill children and youths to runway models and designers.

We also turned the breast cancer patients and survivors as well as their doctors and caregivers to runway models, while mentoring the needy, underprivileged, elderly and next generation in sewing.

We also partnered with Mediacorp’s 72 Hours’ Heart and Hugs programme to raise funds for the underprivileged.

Our 2016’s Singapore Fashion Runway Finale show in December also saw us turned Singapore’s para-athletes/ medalists like Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh as well as local sports stars into runway models at the Singapore Sports Museum.

In 2017 Singapore Fashion Runway’s theme of “Fashion For A Social Cause” is here to stay. This means that Singapore Fashion Runway will continue to bring in local designers and talented creatives by curating their talents while mentoring the needy, unprivileged, elderly and next generation to sew and be involved in our shows.
